The Legend of The Lost Port

Over a century ago, Canadian Pacific chose Port McNicoll as the southern terminus for its Great Lakes Passenger Fleet and here they built the second-largest port on the lakes with a magnificent mile-long deep water slip that would cost hundreds of millions to build today. It was a golden age of adventure travel with graceful white ships, elegant staterooms and white glove service. But by 1965, the days of the steamship had ended and CP closed and preserved the Port. Recently, Skyline Developments purchased Port McNicoll and began to build a world-class resort village. This storied marine history is the remarkable reason why Crates Port McNicoll can now bring you a matchless new level of boating experience.
